Meet Ange
she/her
Counsellor, Educator, Mother
I’m a counsellor, former teacher and mum - and my approach to counselling has been shaped by many life experiences. I’ve spent years in classrooms supporting kids with diverse needs and have lived and worked overseas, which deepened my appreciation for different cultures.
Raising a beautiful, autistic human (and two equally baffling neurotypical ones!) has shaped the way I see the world. It’s taught me to respect the many ways people experience life - and to love meeting people exactly where they’re at.
I’m especially passionate about helping people strengthen their relationships. In a world where more people feel isolated and disconnected, relationships are a powerful antidote. When relationships are strong, they can heal, support and protect our wellbeing. And when they break down, it can affect every part of life.
Values
I value each person’s unique experience of the world and I honour their stories.
I value individual strengths and collaborate with individuals, couples and families to recognise and celebrate theirs.
I value relationships and believe that they are the cornerstone of our general wellbeing.
I value all people and relationships, embracing diversity in every form.
I've got qualifications and experience in inclusive education, counselling and working with people in Australia and overseas. But honestly? What matters most is that I value the people I work with. A warm, genuine commitment to your wellbeing is what I bring to every session.

Everyday life
When I’m not in the counselling room, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my family - they teach me a lot and give me plenty of chances to practice patience (I’m definitely still learning!). I love moving my body, whether that’s through yoga or the occasional slow run. Most nights I meditate because it helps me wind down - though, like everyone, the things that help most are often the first to go! I wish I could make it to the beach more often - nothing beats being in the saltwater -and feeling the warmth of the sunshine!
